Arctigenin decreased reactive oxygen species (ROS) in L6 cells. (A) Chemical structure of arctigenin. (B) L6 cells were incubated with arctigenin (1, 5, and 20 μmol/L) or DMSO for 24 h. Cells were pretreated with 1 mmol/L DCFH-DA for 60 min at 37 °C, followed by treatment with 700 μmol/L H₂O₂ for 20 min. Fluorescence was determined with a fluorescence plate reader at 480 nm excitation/530 nm emission. The results shown are representative of three independent experiments.
