Scaffolds and compounds with high potential for anti-Toxoplasma drug discovery and anti-Entamoeba SAR-based studies. MMV identifiers and structures were provided by the MMV as part of the supporting information for the open access Malaria Box. Triplicate concentrations of serially diluted compounds were tested in vitro against Toxoplasma gondii TS-4 strain tachyzoites and Entamoeba histolytica Rahman strain trophozoites. IC50 (50% inhibitory concentration) values were calculated from sigmoidal dose-response curves. Structure and MMV identifiers are shown for each listed compound. Scaffolds were obtained from SAR studies.
