Oxidative metabolites of EFV analogues 16 and 8 formed by pooled human liver microsomes. Human liver microsomes at a concentration of 2 mg/mL were incubated with 10 μM EFV analogue in the presence of an NADPH regenerating system for 60 min. Metabolites were detected by scanning for the parent m/z plus 16 or 32 using uHPLC–MS/MS in product ion mode. Representative chromatograms are shown for each analogue (N = 3).
