Drinking history (0 = no,1 = yes) 0.69 0.47-1.02 0.060

Odds ratio was relative to no LVH. Adjusted for age, sex, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, smoking history, drinking history, history of diabetes. P value for variables to enter or stay in the model was set at <0.10. CI, confidential interval.
