HCT116 p53^+/+ (A) and HCT116 p53^−/− (B) cells were treated with TRAIL (1 ng/ml), bortezomib (1 nM), or by combination of both drugs for various time periods and the content of receptors in total cell extract was determined by Western blot analysis using appropriate biotinylated antibodies to each receptor. Densitometric analysis of three independent experiments was performed using ImageJ software. Values in all experiments are mean ± SD of at least three independent experiments.
