Case 5 showed severe neuronal loss in the ventrolateral substantia nigra (C) and only sparse α-synuclein pathology (arrows) (D), with mild cell dropout in the locus coeruleus (E) accompanied by moderate numbers of Lewy bodies (arrows) and Lewy neurites (F).
