Dose-dependent vasoconstriction of the ventral tail artery in response to the α1- and α2C-adrenoreceptor agonists phenylephrine (A) and UK14304 (B) was not affected by exposure to impact vibration or noise from the riveting gun. Acetylcholine-induced redilation (C) also was not altered by these exposures. Data are expressed as mean changes (i.e.,% constriction from baseline or % redilation from constricted baseline ± SEM).
