(A) Photography of different developmental stages of P. aegyptiaca including: dry seeds, seeds conditioned at 30ºC for 13 days (SC13d), tubercle, spider, floral shoot and parasitic stem. (B) Quantification of PaCCD7 and PaCCD8 transcript levels by real-time RT-PCR analysis normalized to equal levels of actin transcripts, in all different developmental stages of P. aegyptiaca. All analyses were performed using three biological replicates.
