Mean IQ scores assessed using the WAIS-R in T and non-T carriers are shown for the total (a: CC [n = 360], CT/TT [n = 267]), young (b: CC [n = 210], CT/TT [n = 165]), and aged (c: CC [n = 150], CT/TT [n = 102]) groups. There was no significant difference in verbal IQ (VIQ), performance IQ (PIQ), or full-scale IQ (FIQ) between genotypes (CC vs. CT/TT) from any group (total, aged, or young). Error bars indicate S.E.M. A significant difference in digit span by genotype in the total (d) and aged (f) groups was observed using the WAIS-R.
