The effect of blocking phagocytosis of NOMV on DC cytokine production. Human monocyte-derived DC were co-cultured with 1 μg ml⁻¹ NOMV in the presence of 10 μg ml⁻¹ cytochalasin D (cytD) for 18–24 h. Supernatant was collected and analysed for IL-10, IL-12p70 and IL-23 production. Data from one representative donor out of three are shown.
