Median frequency (±95% CI) of erythromycin-resistant mutants per 108 rho+ cells of heterozygous diploid strains containing both a wild type MIP1 allele and a mip1 allele encoding the Q264H variant in the presence or absence of methyl methanesulfonate (0 or 3 mM) or CdCl2 (0, 2, 3, or 4 µM).
