Epiretinal membrane. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) shows an epiretinal membrane (arrow) with intact outer retinal layers, a good prognostic sign for the postsurgical visual outcome. Additionally, this OCT highlights an area temporally where the membrane is elevated above the retina, an area where it may be surgically easier to initiate the membrane peel.
