Presence of GFP+ cells in the hearts of chagasic chimeric mice. Hearts of chimeric mice euthanized at different time points after infection with T. cruzi were analysed by confocal microscopy. GFP+ (green) myosin+ (a) or F actin+ (b–d) (red) cardiomyocytes were found in heart sections of mice after 33 (a), 60 (b) and 192 (c) days of infection.
