The time course of recovery from synaptic depression was fit with two exponential functions. When fits were constrained to the fast time constant (τfast) from control conditions, the quality of the fit (R2) was comparable with that when the fits were unconstrained. Calm., calmidazolium.
Fits constrained to τfast for 5 mM EGTA control condition (0.816 s).
Fit constrained to τfast MLCK-control condition (0.951 s).
