Notes: Group 1 rats received a sham operation followed by bilateral orchiectomy in one of the different periods. Group 2 rats received experimental unilateral cryptorchidism followed by bilateral orchiectomy in one of the different periods. Group 3 rats received experimental unilateral cryptorchidism and MC blocker treatment (1 mg/kg/day liquid ketotifen, administered daily until the end of the study), followed by a bilateral orchiectomy in one of the different periods.
