Hyperglycemia-induced Mafb and Nephrin depletion was prevented in Mafb TG mice. (A) Quantitative RT-PCR analysis. Mafb and Nphs1 elevation was observed in TG CON glomeruli. Reduced expression of Mafb and Nphs1 in WT STZ glomeruli was ameliorated in TG STZ mice. Significant changes in Nphs2 and Podxl (Podocaryxin) expression were not observed.
