Gene expression at 25 °C and 37 °C determined by quantitative real-time PCR. Total RNAs were prepared from strain PAO1 cells grown at 25 °C (white bars) and 37 °C (gray bars) in PPGAS medium. Cultures were harvested at an OD₆₀₀ of 1.5. The levels of transcripts were measured by quantitative real-time RT-PCR and normalized to lasR expression. The values represent the means and SDs of changes in comparison with the transcription level in PAO1 cells grown at 25 °C. All results are the average of at least three independent determinations, and the error bars represent SDs.
