Plasticity is calculated as the difference between line means as: developmental plasticity = dev16°C - dev26°C, adult plasticity (shift to 16°C) = adult16°C - dev26°C, and adult plasticity (shift to 26°C) = dev16°C - adult26°C. Points represent mean plasticity +/− s.e. for each genetic line.
