Suppression of growth hormone receptor (GHR) alters key signaling molecules in PANC-1 and HPAC cells. (a, c, e) The effect of GHR knockdown on AKT/phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase (PI3K) signaling was analyzed in pancreatic cancer cells. The expression of phospho-AKT, AKT, phospho-PI3K, PI3K, phospho-phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN), phospho-mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), mTOR, phospho-p70s6kinase, p70s6kinase and the internal control β-actin was measured by western blotting.
