Foxp3 mRNA is decreased in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. PBMC (3 × 106) was isolated from RA patients (n = 25) and healthy control (n = 20). Rorc (A) and Foxp3 (B) gene expression was measured by qRT-PCR. The expression of Rorc and Foxp3 in patients with RA is shown as relative levels compared with healthy controls.
