Effect of MME on LPS-induced iNOS and COX-2 expressions in LPS-stimulated BV-2 cells. (A) BV-2 cells were pretreated with different concentrations of MME for 2 h and stimulated with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 16 h. The expression of iNOS, COX-2, and β-actin protein was detected by Western blot using corresponding antibodies. (B) Cells pretreated with various concentrations of MME for 2 h were stimulated with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 6 h, and then total RNA was prepared for RT-PCR. The results presented are representative of three independent experiments. ^ap < 0.05 indicates significant differences compared to the non-treated group. ^bp < 0.05 indicates significant differences compared to the LPS-only group.
