A large number of CD34+/perilipin− (arrowhead) perivascular cells could be detected surrounding blood vessels at day 30 (1 & 2), but their number decreased over time. Only a few CD34+/perilipin+ (star) adipose precursor cells were detected in the tissue, but their number increased sharply by day 45 (3 & 4), then decreased by day 60.
