Rates of spontaneous activity in DTNs and non-DTNs in the ICc of the big brown bat. In general, the majority of IC neurons exhibited little to no spontaneous activity (<5 Hz); however, DTNs (n = 228) had significantly lower spontaneous firing rates than non-DTNs (n = 487).
