Data are expressed as the mean ± SD. B. Quantification of change in total vascular area in cervical spinal cord during development of EAE, as measured by CD31 IF and Volocity software. Note that total vascular area was significantly increased 7 days post-immunization, continued to increase up to 21 days, and thereafter was maintained at greater than 50% higher than control levels.
