Note. sd: standard deviation. Internalizing is the sum of scores on the Anxious/Depressed, Withdrawn/Depressed, & Somatic Complaints syndromes. Externalizing is the sum of scores on the Rule-Breaking Behavior and Aggressive Behavior syndromes. Total Problems is the sum of all problem items. After a Bonferroni correction for multiple hypothesis testing (0.05/17), comparisons were considered statistically significant at p<0.003.
