(A) Immunohistochemical assessment of ChAT+IR in the medial septum/vertical limb of the diagonal band (Ch1/Ch2) revealed a significant 37% (±6%) reduction in subjects that received binge ethanol during adolescence (P28–P48), but not in adulthood (P70–P90). (B) Profile counts of ChAT+IR in the horizontal limb of the diagonal band/nucleus basalis magnocellularis (Ch3/Ch4) revealed a significant 34% (±10%) reduction in subjects that received binge ethanol during adolescence (P28–P48), but not in adulthood (P70–P90).
