EGF- and PDGF-induced Akt phosphorylation is enhanced in Nck1-depleted HepG2 cells. Overnight serum-starved HepG2 cells transfected with control or Nck1 siRNA were exposed to 0, 1 and 10 nM EGF (A) or 0, 25 and 50 ng/ml PDGF-BB (B) for 5 min. Equal amount of proteins from total cell lysates were subjected to immunoblot with indicated antibodies. Data are representative of three independent experiments performed in duplicate with similar results.
