Locusta accessory gland myotropin. Deduced amino acid sequence from EST GO240796.1 and genome assembly. Both the genome assembly and the EST have a few more amino acids at the N-terminus, but they differ, probably due to the insertion or deletion of a nucleotide. The sequence shown here is identical between the genome assembly and the EST. It clearly shows that the isolated active peptide (Paemen et al., 1991b), shown in blue, is not flanked by classical neuropeptide convertase cleavage sites.
