(A) Representative micrograph of the fifth generation of BMSCs of Sprague-Dawley rats, which revealed consistently long spindle-shaped cells arranged in a radial or spiral shape. These cells demonstrated colony growth under phase contrast microscopy (magnification, ×200). The expression levels of (B) CD45, (C) CD34, (D) CD90 and (E) CD29 in rat BMSCs were examined using flow cytometry. An isotype antibody was used as a negative control (blue line).
