Vectors A⃗ and B⃗ are created between the points C1, and C2 (the points of geometrical center of mass for each protein within the homodimer), and C3 and C4 (the centers of negative and positive charges, respectively). b.) The geometrical centers are used to generate a plane perpendicular to the line connecting C1, C2 and intersecting it at the middle. The distance D is the length between any point Xo and the length of the perpendicular line from Xo to the plane.
