Dendritic polyglycerol sulfate (dPGS) treatment in wild type mice decreased the severity of myositis. dPGS was injected intradermally for 11 consecutive days, beginning 3 days after immunization with C protein. Mice were sacrificed at day 14 after immunization and muscle tissues were harvested. A, Representative images of muscle inflammation with hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining in wild type mice treated with dPGS and those treated with control.
