Cumulative Short-Form McGill Pain Questionnaire scores reported by subjects assigned to either the direct visual observation (DO) or mental visualization (MV) treatment groups pre- and posttherapeutic intervention. The McGill short form is scored out of a total of 45, with greater scores indicating more severe phantom limb pain symptoms.
