Note that in an INC artifact, where the artifact edge is flat with no associated dome, only the S measurement was taken into account (a). When an INC artifact was associated with a dome the S, L, and M measurements were recorded (b). In an OVE artifact the S and P measurement were taken (c) and within duplicate artifacts only the superior measurement was recorded (d).
