The problem of poor Qdot and nanocrystals (NC) or Fluospheres (FS) migration in LF test strips. Various sizes (colors) of commercially available Qdots up to ~6 nm in diameter [29] should be able to migrate freely through most nitrocellulose analytical membranes, but they clearly cannot, perhaps due to aggregation of individual Qdots and FNPs into much larger agglomerates. See the Experimental Section for commercial sources of all particles.
