The problem of poor Qdot and nanocrystals (NC) or Fluospheres (FS) migration in LF test strips. Various sizes (colors) of commercially available Qdots up to ~6 nm in diameter [29] should be able to migrate freely through most nitrocellulose analytical membranes, but they clearly cannot, perhaps due to aggregation of individual Qdots and FNPs into much larger agglomerates.
