Comparison of the zinc coordinating region in the available PDB entries. 1SU0, 2QQ4, 1R9P, and 3LVL are the structures of IscU from S. pyogenes,¹⁸ T. thermophilus HB8, H. influenzae,¹⁰ and E. coli,¹⁴ respectively. 1SU0, 2QQ4, and 3LVL are crystal structures solved at 2.30, 1.85, and 3.00 Å resolution. Only 1SU0 contains explicitly zinc coordinates. 1R9P is an NMR structure, which Zn²⁺ was modeled in.
