curvy1 mutants displayed distinctly pronounced dark phenotypes. (A, B) wild type (A), cvy1 (B) and cvy1 35S:CVY1 rescue (C) seedlings grown on agar plates for 12 days after germination in the dark are here depicted. Under dark growth conditions, curvy1 mutant (B) showed lack of vertical growth orientation compared to WT (A).
