Untreated or transfected (exGal-3 or shGal-3, respectively) HeLa tumor cells were injected intraperitoneally into NOD-SCID mice, followed by injection with PBS or NK cells into the tumor tissue area 5 days after tumor inoculation. B and C, tumor volumes were measured on days 10 and 20 (B), and the formation of tumors was observed on day 20 (C) after tumor inoculation. The data are representative of two independent experiments with five animals in each group, and the maximum and minimum tumor volumes were excluded from the statistics.
