IGF-I induced epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition in BGC-823 gastric cancer cells. BGC-823 cells were serum-starved overnight and then treated with or without 100 ng/ml IGF-I for 48h. (C and D) The cells were stained with antibodies to E-cadherin (green) and vimentin (red), and nuclei were stained with 4′,6′-diamidino-2-phenylindole (blue).
