Not enough cells could be harvested from the washout fraction at 12 days with nematode predation to allow for Western blot analysis of that fraction. σ⁷⁰ represents a loading control. The washout assay was performed on WT UTI89 colony biofilms that had been fed on by C. elegans for 6 or 12 days before biofilms were harvested, and the percentage of survival was determined (B).
