Different ESBL and non-ESBL clinical isolates. ESBL-producing strains were resistant to ceftriaxone (E10, 4 μg/ml; E16 and E94, >64 μg/ml) in contrast to non-ESBL-producing strains (all ≤1 μg/ml).
