Effect of calanquinone A on rhodamine 123 efflux. A172 cells were treated without or with the indicated agent (calanquinone A, 1–10 μM; verapamil 100 μM) for 1 h. The cells were harvested for the detection of rhodamine 123 content by flow cytometric analysis. Data are expressed as mean7S.E.M. of three independent determinations.
