SK-Mel-19 cells were transfected with 10 nM negative control (NC) or mimic miR-524-5p. After 48 hours, the total cell number was calculated using a hemocytometer (A), and the proliferation activities were detected by the AlamarBlue assay (B). (C) SK-Mel-19 cells were transfected with a miR-524-5p expression plasmid or control vector. The ability to form colonies in soft agar represents the capacity for anchorage-independent growth.
