Each symbol represents mean of 2 independent RNA copy quantifications. Similar to Figure 2, in the early and chronic group unique symbols are used to show the longitudinal changes within an injection drug user. In each scatterplot, the lines denote the median. Significant differences (p ≤0.05) are indicated with a star in the graphs. Symbols in gray denote virus stocks shown to be able to utilize the CXCR4 receptor.
