H2O/D2O sensitive propionate Raman bands of heme a2+ (aRd) and heme a3 2+ (a3 Rd Resonance Raman spectra of the fully-reduced form of bCcO in H2O (blue) and D2O (red) were obtained with 441.6 nm excitation. The difference spectrum (H2O – D2O) (the bottom black trace) is shown with a scale expanded by 3-fold as compared to the parent spectra.
