LESC differentiate in oxidised calcium alginate gels. CK14 (A) and CK3 (B) were detected in freshly isolated LEC (control: C) and LEC cultured for 3 days in unmodified and 2 or 5% oxidised alginate gel discs under cell culture conditions by immunoblotting.
