Cytokines increase HCVcc infection. HepG2.CD81 were treated with cytokines or CM from unstimulated (US) or LPS-stimulated macrophages and infected with HCV (SA13/JFH) for 12 hours. After 72 hours NS5A+ cells (A) and RNA levels (B) were quantified. (C) To assess the effect of cytokines on viral replication, HepG2 cells stably supporting HCV-JFH-1 (HepG2-JB) were treated with cytokines or CM and HCV RNA quantified.
