SelH does not mobilize to laser-induced oxidative and broken DNA in live cells. Localized DNA damage was generated and followed up to 30 min post-irradiation in live MRC-5 cells transiently expressing SelH-GFP and PCNA-DsRed. The localizations of SelH and PCNA were detected under a time-lapse fluorescence microscopy by employing GFP and DsRed channels, respectively. The open arrow indicates the site of localized laser damage.
