Inhibition of an MERSpp infection by anti-RBD and -SP3 neutralizing antibodies at different steps. The experiment was performed as described in Materials and Methods. Briefly, antisera were added before the binding of MERSpp to Huh-7 cells in Protocol I, while antisera were added after MERSpp binding to target cells in Protocol II.
