A. Under physiologic conditions there is a modest number of bone marrow derived cells (green) around the PLV (red). B. Under inflammatory conditions (four days after oxazolone skin painting), there is a substantial infiltrate of bone marrow derived cells, which are associated with an impairment in lymphatic function (Movie S4). We have shown that iNOS expression by bone marrow derived cells contribute to the functional impairment in collecting lymphatic vessels [1].
