Host cells carrying plasmids encoding an antibody are first biotinylated by the use of a commercially available biotinylation reagent (A). This modification is followed by the decoration of cells with the recombinant fusion protein streptavidin-ZZ (SA-ZZ) (B), which enables the recapturing of secreted antibodies to the cell surface (C).
